Linking the mission DLLs to your map:

To link the DLLs that have just been created, open the map editor. Once inside the map editor press ctrl+r to open the Map Dialog box, it can also be accessed by clicking the Map Dialog button in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Once in the Map Dialog box (Note: if the dialog box does not appear alt+tab out of the map editor and then alt+tab back into it and it should appear.) go to the Rule File box. Clear out whatever is in there and type in the name of the Rule File(.drl) which corresponds to this map file(.sol). Do the same things in the Script File box, this time linking the correct script file(.dsl) to the map file(.sol). Now that the changes have been made in the map dialog box click the ok button near the bottom right corner of the dialog box.
Now that the rule and script files have been linked to the map file, the changes need to be saved. Press ctrl+s to open the save window (Note: if the dialog box does not appear alt+tab in and out again) and save the map file, it’s highly recommended that the file name be the name of the level with the extension .sol at the end. Press ok to save the changes and then exit the map editor. Now the map file is linked to the rule and script files.
Now that the files have been created and link, they need to placed in the proper game folders. The map file (.sol) should be placed in the sol folder. The rule and script files (.drl .dsl) should be placed in the missions folder.
